Welcome to Vennuzo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Vennuzo ("Vennuzo", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the Vennuzo mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account, purchase tickets, or post content. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may sign in with email, phone, Apple, or Google. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account within the app, which removes your profile and associated personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. User content & acceptable use
The Service lets you post content such as event listings, photos, posts, comments, and reviews ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant Vennuzo a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute it within the Service.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content. There is no tolerance for objectionable, abusive, or illegal content or behaviour on Vennuzo. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes the rights of others, and not to engage in abusive conduct toward other users.
By using the Service you agree to:
- Not upload objectionable, abusive, hateful, or illegal content;
- Not harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other users;
- Not post spam, scams, or misleading event or venue information;
- Not attempt to circumvent security, rate limits, or payment controls.
4. Reporting, moderation & enforcement
Every piece of User Content and every user profile can be reported from within the app, and you can block any user to stop seeing their content and prevent them from interacting with you. We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and will act on them — including removing content and ejecting offending users — typically within 24 hours. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.
5. Tickets, events & payments
Events and tickets are offered by independent event organizers, not by Vennuzo. When you buy a ticket, you purchase admission to a real-world, in-person event from the organizer. Payments are processed by our payment partner (Hubtel) via mobile money and related methods. Vennuzo facilitates discovery and checkout but is not the merchant of record for the underlying event.
All sales are subject to the organizer's terms. Refunds, exchanges, cancellations, and event changes are the responsibility of the organizer. Contact the organizer or our Support team for ticket issues.
6. Organizers & venues
If you create events, claim a venue/place, or use organizer tools (including promotional campaigns, SMS/push, or creative services), you represent that you are authorised to do so and that your listings are accurate and lawful. Verification of a place or organizer does not constitute an endorsement by Vennuzo. Promotional and advertising tools are business services provided to organizers.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Vennuzo and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Vennuzo does not warrant that events will occur as listed, that content is accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vennuzo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from events, organizers, payments, or User Content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Vennuzo (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
