Welcome to Vennuzo. This Privacy Policy explains how Vennuzo ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you use the Vennuzo mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Vennuzo is an event discovery, ticketing, and management platform. You may browse events as a guest, but certain features require an account.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile photo when you create an account.
• Authentication data: Credentials used through email/password, phone sign-in, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or the G-Plus credential bridge.
• Event interaction data: RSVPs, ticket purchases, saved events, and event preferences.
• Payment information: Transaction details processed through our payment provider, Hubtel. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
• Communications: Messages you send to us through support channels.
• Marketing preferences: Your opt-in or opt-out choices for promotional communications.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location data: With your permission, we collect your device location to show nearby events and provide location-based recommendations.
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
• Push notification tokens: Tokens used to deliver push notifications to your device when you grant permission.
• Usage data: How you interact with the app, including pages viewed, features used, and session duration.
• Log data: IP address, access times, and crash reports for debugging and improvement.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Process ticket purchases and manage event RSVPs.

4. Third-Party Services

Vennuzo integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, real-time database, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications. Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Google Maps Platform: Used to display event locations and provide location-based features. Google Privacy Policy.
• Hubtel: Handles payment processing for ticket purchases. Your payment details are transmitted directly to Hubtel and are subject to Hubtel's Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.
• Apple Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or a relay email if you use Hide My Email).
• G-Plus credential bridge: If you choose the G-Plus account prompt, we verify your G-Plus email and password through the G-Plus authentication system, create or link a Vennuzo session, and may import your mirrored profile fields such as display name, username, city, bio, date of birth, phone number, and profile photo into Vennuzo.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Event organizers: When you purchase a ticket or RSVP, the event organizer receives your name and contact information necessary to manage attendance.
• Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, analytics, payment processing), under strict confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.
• With your consent: We may share information for other purposes when you provide explicit consent.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Firebase servers managed by Google, which employs industry-standard encryption and security practices. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account directly within the app under account settings.

9. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Vennuzo account at any time through the in-app account settings. Upon deletion:

• Your profile information, preferences, and saved events will be permanently removed.
• Completed transaction records may be retained for legal and financial compliance purposes.
• Data will be fully deleted or anonymized within 30 days of your request.

10. Location Data

Vennuzo requests access to your device location to show nearby events. Location access is optional and can be revoked at any time through your device settings. When location access is disabled, you can still browse events manually but will not receive location-based recommendations.

11. Push Notifications

We use push notifications to send event reminders, ticket confirmations, and promotional updates (if opted in). You can manage notification preferences in the app settings or through your device settings at any time.

12. Cookies and Tracking

The Vennuzo mobile app does not use browser cookies. However, our third-party service providers (such as Firebase Analytics) may use device identifiers and similar technologies to collect usage data. You can limit ad tracking through your device settings.

13. Children's Privacy

Vennuzo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly. 14. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States (where Firebase servers are located).
